EV charger optional features:

• SCHUKO plug (Type F) with integrated OVER-TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
  • Ensures SAFE charging with high currents (16A)
  • Works totally independent
  • Terminates charging in case it gets too hot
  • Over-temperature is indicated via fast blinking blue LED on EV plug
  • Automatically resumes charging when it cools down
  • How it works: in case of bad quality wall socket that causes excessive heat generation this Schuko plug is able to detect that and disconnect charging. When this happens the blue LED light on the EV plug starts blinking fast. When everything cools down charging is automatically resumed.
• Ground fault protection device – 30mA RCD (shall be used if there is no 30mA RCD protection behind the wall socket/in-house electrical installation)
